AmeriWaste League City, Inc. is the primary trash provider for League City’s 34,000 plus residential and commercial customers. To make trash pickup more efficient, the City has three trash zones. Please view the Interactive Trash and Recycling Map to determine your service days:
- Enter your address, and click on the magnifying glass.
- A map pin will appear at the address you entered.
- Click on the map near the pin to display your Trash and Recycling Service Days.
Trash pickup will be anywhere between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on pickup days. Customers are asked to have their trash cans placed at the curb by 7 a.m. on their designated days, but no earlier than 6 p.m. the night before.
NOTE: Items placed at the curb for donation (i.e. Purple Heart, etc.) may be inadvertently picked up as trash if placed alongside trash/recycling.

Holiday Schedule
If your pick-up falls on a holiday, your garbage will be picked up on the next regularly scheduled day for your neighborhood. Garbage will not be picked up on the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day
